Epiphany is the time when the church remembers that God's light shines in the darkness for all people. Fifty of us gathered to study, pray, discuss and strategize. And we celebrated our hope and our yearning with worship and witness on the beach looking towards Guantanamo, Cuba.

We really are a grassroots movement - as in having no budget - so people arranged their own travel and lived simply for a couple of days. Riviera Presbyterian Church of Miami, Miami Shores Presbyterian Church, and the Presbytery of Tropical Florida graciously hosted our gathering. Moderator Rick Ufford-Chase, Ed Brogan and other movement leaders were among those who attended.
